WELCOME To Our Oceanfront Kona Vacation Rental Beach House! We think it’s the best place we’ve ever stayed, and here’s why!
This Kona vacation rental is right on a small, beautiful, sandy white beach, perfect for couples and families. You can watch dolphins and sea turtles from both the upstairs and downstairs lanais.
And this townhouse is so easy to live in! The unit has approximately 2300 sq. ft. of centrally AIR-CONDITIONED space on two floors, plus 400 sq. ft. of lanai space. Sliding glass doors open onto two oceanfront lanais that overlook the beautiful white sand beach, the black lava rocks, the surf, and sea-life including dolphins, sea turtles, and seasonal whales.
This particular Hawaii vacation condo is unusual in that there are only 8 units, two per building, and all are oceanfront. The complex is very private and easy—no long hauls from the car or to the water. There is covered parking adjacent to the unit, and the beach starts at the bottom step of the deck!
The living room and master bedroom have full ocean views and you can hear the soothing sounds of the surf. The spacious master bedroom is a king-sized suite containing a bathroom with a whirlpool tub and separate shower, and it opens up onto an oceanfront lanai. The second bedroom upstairs is large and has its own bath, two twin beds, and a futon sofa that converts to a double bed. The downstairs bedroom has a queen sized bed and a full bathroom. It can be entered either through the house or its own entrance, and is perfect for grandparents, a nanny, friends, or families with more than two children.
A couple of buildings down the beach is a hidden protected cove with resident, rather inquisitive sea turtles. Although Hawaii State law prohibits humans from approaching sea turtles, the turtles themselves seem to operate under no such restrictions. Most every time we’ve entered the water, they have swum up to check us out (and, I suspect, to see if we happen to be carrying any seaweed). This is one of the most magical experiences we have ever had as a family, and look forward to it each year.
There are lots of amenities, too, including a fully equipped kitchen featuring a Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer and koa wood cabinets, washer/dryer, air-conditioning, whirlpool tub, BBQ grill, linens, beach towels, beach toys, boogie boards, FREE unlimited high speed internet access, wireless internet access, FREE unlimited local phone calls, cable TV, stereo, CD player, and DVD and VCR players.

Kailua-Kona is only two miles north of our condo and features shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Kahalu’u Beach is just two miles south, and is one of the best snorkeling spots we’ve ever been to, especially for children. It’s protected and shallow, and filled with fish, many of whom are quite tame.
The Ali’i Gardens Marketplace is just across the street and down about 3 blocks. It has over 50 merchants who offer handmade products, Kona coffee, incredibly fresh produce and flowers, snorkel rentals, shave ice, and lots of other wonderful things.
And, of course, there’s all of the other great stuff Kailua Kona is famous for, including Swimming, Snorkeling, Diving, Boating, Kayaking, Sailing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Parasailing, Tide Pools, Seasonal Whale Watching, Luaus, Wildlife Viewing; Submarine Rides; Hiking, Biking, Golf, Tennis, Fishing, Shopping, Restaurants, Cinemas, Sightseeing, Museums, and Horseback Riding.
Now, if our words haven’t yet convinced you why we think this Hawaii vacation rental is really great, we’re hoping our photographs will!
Aloha and thank you for considering our home for your vacation.
